What this check tells you

Destination

A and AAAA records show the public servers a hostname can reach. CNAME records point one hostname to another.

Authority

NS and SOA records identify the DNS provider and the zone’s primary administrative information.

Mail routing

MX records list the servers receiving email. Lower preference numbers are attempted first.

Change timing

TTL is how long a resolver may cache a response. It influences when record changes become visible.
